Dear Rick, I’d like to personally thank you and A-1 Chimney for resolving what had become, a chronic and stressful problem for me and my family. For 3 years we were unable to diagnose and fix a persistent leak around our stone chimney. The leak started soon after we completed a 2 story building addition abutting our existing stone fireplace. Our builder and his roofing people and 2 independent roof contractors we called subsequently, tried repeatedly, but couldn’t stop the leaking. We felt we were out of options and were considering tearing the chimney stone off when a friend suggested calling a chimney specialist rather than another roofer.
